Notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018 is issued to fill 182 vacancies of Commissioned Officers (Male & Female) for courses starting in July 2019 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.



This is a good opportunity fro graduate candidates who are looking for an adventurous career in Indian Air Force

The Permanent Commission (PC) is for Male candidates while Female candidates will be granted Short Service Commission (SSC) and male candidates can also apply for SSC.

AFCAT Entry:
Flying Branch – 42 Posts

Ground Duty (Technical) – 76 Posts

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)- 40 Posts

NCC Special Entry:
Flying Branch - 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for Flying branch

Meteorology Branch:
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – 24 Posts

Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be placed in Level 10 of the CPC and will be eligible to receive Rs.56100-110700 and MSP of Rs.15500.

Training Venue:
The Training is scheduled to commence in the first week of July 2019 for all
courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal in Hyderabad.

Training Duration:
Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches - 74 weeks
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches - 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.

Note: Aadhaar Card is mandatory for Registration. Candidates must possess a PAN Card and account in SBI/ Nationalised Bank at the time of joining Air Force Academy.
